    This handbook is published by the Public Health Agency of Canada and describes the principles of Sensitive Practice and offers guidelines to enhance survivors' sense of safety during health care encounters, in the interest of maximizing the benefits of consultation and treatment.
     
  • CME Course on Infectious Disease Outbreaks
    Tools and strategies for front-line clinicians course was developed by infectious disease specialists and public health experts across Canada. This course has been accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Fédération des médecins omnipraticiens du Québec. The course has also been endorsed by the Public Health Agency of Canada and the Public Health Network Council. It helps front-line clinicians protect themselves, their families and their communities against the growing threat of infectious disease outbreaks. Targeted primarily at front-line clinicians, including family doctors, emergency physicians, paediatricians, nurses, nurse practitioners, and outpost nurses, the course focuses on prevention and control, screening, diagnosis and treatment strategies and practices.
