Temporary Registration
An applicant
for temporary registration must:

(a) |
be a person who was previously registered on the Manitoba
Medical Register or who is fully registered and in good standing in
another Canadian jurisdiction |

(b) |
be issued a certificate from the Minister of Health stating
that the physician is required to provide medical services in a
specified community or practice setting. |
A person may be granted temporary registrtion for one or more
periods not exceeding an aggregate of 12 months in any 18 month
period. The initial 18 month period begins on the day
that temporary registration is granted, and any subsequent 18 month
period cannot begin earlier than the end of the immediately
preceding 18 month period.
Physicians are required to sign a written undertaking to the
College with respect to the terms and conditions of the temporary
registration which may include an individualized monitoring
program.
