Medical Education
For conditional registration, pursuant to regulations under The
Medical Act, a physician is eligible for registration in Manitoba
if he or she graduated from a medical school:
| (a) |
recognized by the Committee on Accreditation of Canadian
Medical Schools or the Liaison Committee on Medical Education,
or |
| (b) |
listed in: |
| |
(i) |
the World Directory of Medical Schools published by the World
Health Organization, as amended from time to time, or |
|
(ii) |
the International Medical Education Directory published by the
Foundation for the Advancement of International Medical Education
and Research, as amended from time to time, |
if the medical school has carried out a continuous medical
education program for more than 10 years during which it has
offered and continues to offer a medical training program of at
least 48 months duration.
