Complaints Committee
CPSM is committed to addressing complaints against physicians and other members of CPSM such as Physician Assistants or Clinical Assistants.
The Complaints Committee oversees the handling of all complaints and the process is administered by CPSM staff. Complaints are considered by panels. Each Complaints Committee Panel is made up of 3 people; two are physicians and one is a member of the public who does not work in healthcare. The Panel which reviews the complaint decides the most appropriate outcome.
More information about the formal requirements of the Complaints Committee is contained in its Terms of Reference.
Detailed information about complaints, including what to consider and how to make a complaint can be found in Step by Step Through the Process.
